2018 Alpha Phi Alpha HBCU College Tour - SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE UNTIL 11/22/17!!!!

Who: The Beta Lambda Education Institute presents...

 

What: The 21st Annual Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc,. HBCU College Tour!!!  

 

All 10th - 12th grade students (male and female) are welcome to participate in the tour.

  • Students in grades 10 and 11 must have a 2.0 cumulative GPA and be enrolled in high school.
  • Seniors must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA and score a minimum of 18 on the ACT or 1500 on the SAT.

Students who do not meet the minimum criteria provided above WILL NOT be allowed to attend the tour (no exceptions).  

 

The total cost per person is $500.00, which includes ground transportation, hotel accommodations, breakfast & lunch each day, guided tours from campus admissions staff, sightseeing tours, and on-site admission & scholarship. Final payment for this opportunity is due February 16, 2018

 

Payments may be made by check (cashier or personal), money order, credit/debit card, or cash. Make checks/money orders payable to BLEI.

When: This year's tour will be March 25th-March 31st.

 

The district is offering $300 scholarships for up to 10 students. Those students interested in applying for a scholarship MUST submit completed permission forms and the $75 deposit BEFORE November 22nd.

  • Fisk University, Nashville, TN
  • Alabama A&M University, Huntsville, AL
  • Oakwood University, Huntsville, AL
  • Alabama State University, Montgomery, AL
  • Tuskegee University, Tuskegee, AL
  • Morehouse College, Atlanta, GA
  • Spelman College, Atlanta, GA
  • Clark-Atlanta University, Atlanta, GA
  • Georgia Tech University, Atlanta, GA
  • Harris-Stowe State University, St. Louis, MO

All schools and price are subject to change.

 

Why: Seniors will apply for admission at all schools while on the tour.  Registration forms are posted at the bottom and must be submitted along with your payment (see below) in order to reserve your (student's) seat on the tour.  Please note that seniors are required to complete and return all of the attached forms in order to attend the tour.  Students in grades 10 and 11 must return the completed Parent Permission Form, Teacher/Counselor Form and Video Release Form in order to attend the tour.
