C = 70% - 79%

D = 60% - 69%

F = 0% - 59%

Graduation Credit Requirements

To graduate from Schlagle students must earn a minimum of 25 credits.

Required Credits

English 4.5 - including Speech (.5)

Math 4.0

Social Studies 3.0 - including American History, American Government (.5), Economics (.5) & World History or World Geography 

Science 3.0 - including Biology

Physical Education 1.0 

Fine Arts 1.0

CTE 2.0 - including Career & Life Planning/Freshman 101 (.5), Consumer Education (.5), and Business Communications (.5)

Additional Electives 6.5

Students who are on track for graduation are encouraged to enroll in Tech or College Classes Junior and/or Senior year.

Most of these classes meet every other day from August to December or January to May

August to December Important Dates

Progress 1: September 9

Quarter 1: October 13

Progress 2: November 10

Quarter 2: December 20 - Grade Final/Credit Earned is .5

Credit for Year Long Classes

If a student fails the first half of a core class with a 50% or less, but earns a C (70%) or better for the second half they will be awarded the full credit for the course.

 

If a student fails the first half of a core class with a 50% or higher, but earns a D (60%) or better for the second half they will be awarded the full credit for the course.

 

If a student fails the second half of a course, regardless of the 1st semester grade, they will have to make up the second half of that course.
